Safflower oil, cold-pressed from safflower seeds, is rich in the omega-6 fatty acid linoleic acid, and both the linseed oil and hemp oil are rich in the omega-3 fatty acid α-linolenic acid, which promote a healthy skin barrier, maintain skin hydration and contribute to a shiny coat. Evening primrose oil and borage oil, both rich in γ-linolenic acid, have anti-inflammatory properties and complete this effective blend.
